One of my favorite quotes is from the great Zig Ziglar:

“Positive thinking will not allow you to do anything, but it will let you do everything better than negative thinking .”

I love this quote because it illustrates such an important concept. Many people don’t put a lot of stock into the idea of positive thinking because they don’t do much of it.

It’s natural to minimize something we don’t understand or practice on a regular basis. …

“Your attitude, not your aptitude, will determine the altitude you soar in life.”

– Zig Ziglar

A famous basketball star was once asked what the secret to success is. His answer was profound when stated, “Ultimately, the secret to success is not a secret at all as much as it is a choice. The choice to be a winner above all else”. …

Hi, thanks for joining us for another article of The Win It Minute. I’m fired up, as usual, as I got a great quote that I found and a great story that I want to share with you. The quote I want to share is from one of my favorite authors, Tony Robbins, when he said, “When you truly commit to making something happen in life, the how will always reveal itself.”

Limitations are not your enemy in life. In fact, if you look at them with a positive mindset, they’re actually your gift to learn something new. Obstacles are…

I read one time that scientists have proven that our brains and our body move to the strongest impressions of our thoughts. This simply means that you move in the direction of your focus in life.

Winning is a choice and it’s a habit.

My favorite misquote of all time is by the most famous coach of my favorite football team, the Green Bay Packers — the team that my family and 680,000 other community members have an ownership stake in.

The great Vincent Lombardi once said:

“Winning is a habit. Unfortunately, so is losing.”

People often misquote him as…

Who is to say that the way you originally learned something is the best way? How many people grow up learning one way of thinking or one way of doing things, but it might not necessarily be the best way for them? I once read that 78% of America does not move farther than 15 miles from the house they grew up in. That means most of America is following similar traditions and perspectives they learned from their parents, who learned from their parents, and so on. …

What’s up, everybody? It’s our Win It Minute for the day. Wherever you are, I hope that you make an awesome day because no matter the obstacles in front of you, every day is an opportunity for you to win today. Today, I want to start with my favorite quote that says,

“If you can control your interpretations, you can control your world.”

What we react to and what we notice and in our given day is the most important thing that sets us up for success or failure. The greatest discovery of our generation of mankind in general is that human beings, by changing their attitudes and minds, can change their lives. It all starts with the choice to respond to our emotions and to respond to things that happened to us. Those are the ways that we can control our attitude, our mindset, and those are what dictate our success and failures in every given day because you can play one of three roles on any given day in any situation, whatever happens to you.

Think about this, one of three roles. You can either be the victim, the villain or the hero. And when you take on that mindset that you’re not going to be a victim, or you’re not going to be a villain, you’re going to be the hero, you can change the outcomes of any situation, a disagreement you’re having with your child. If you want to be the hero, you’re going to make it right, or with your spouse or a friend, you want to make it right or a work project. …

Your outlook on life is something that is uniquely yours, and it’s a choice you make every day. It’s very simple. You can choose to be a winner or a whiner.

Winners know that they need to take 100% responsibility for everything that happens to them, while whiners look to blame others for everything that happens.

There’s a clear distinction.

In sports, for example, the highly successful people know that it wasn’t the bad call at the end of the game that prevented the them from winning. …

We’ve talked about having a positive mindset a lot so far. Your mindset is a direct reflection of the way you perceive what’s happening around you. For example, if you have a lot of fear around a virus turning deadly and letting it dramatically affect the way you live life, then that perception will dictate your mindset. However, if you perceive that things aren’t as bad as the media wants you to believe, then your mindset will be in a different place.

The bottom line is this:

If we control our interpretation, we control our world.

The way we view…
