Thanks for joining us for another Win It Minute. I want to start with one of my favorite quote that states, “We can’t help everyone in life, but everyone can help someone.” This is incredibly important to remember in WHY we are staying home and doing what we have to do in today’s current crisis.

With all that is going on in our ever changing world today, I want to flip the script a little bit and talk about why the why is sometimes even more powerful than how. On the Win It Minute, we write most times how you should have a positive mindset and how to have a better, more positive mindset. But sometimes the reason behind the why is the most powerful thing around because a ship does not sink because there’s water around it. A ship only sinks when the water gets inside. This is very important to keep in mind especially with all the fear and crazy times we have surrounding our every day in the midst of this current crisis.

It’s okay to have negative thoughts, we all have them from time to time, but it’s once you verbalize them and give them life that it makes the difference. Great example of this is that in the 1980s, I just read this story about how the US and Russia was in the middle of this giant Cold War. We’re on the brink of nuclear annihilation, each side thought the other side was wrong and we thought our…
