Wherever you are, I hope you make it an awesome day because no matter the obstacles in front of you, every single day is an opportunity for you to win the day. Today I want to talk to you about concept of mental toughness, and how you can become more mentally strong with this ancient practice. I recently read a great quote that states: “To be yourself in a world that is constantly trying to change you is the greatest accomplishment and achievement of all.” The ancient practice of stoicism is such a valuable mindset right now because focusing on what’s important in the moment and to live one’s life in the best way, the power to do that is actually within all of us. We can do that any given day by maintaining that concept.
We’re capable of being indifferent to things that are different in our life. What that means is that only worry about and react to things that matter to you. This doesn’t mean be selfish and don’t worry about others or don’t do other things. It just means that in a world when you’re trying to accomplish things, everything else is just noise if it doesn’t matter to you. It just slows us down.
