As humans, we are creatures of habit. We get into familiar routines that we believe serve us. We find ways of doing things that work well for us. However, it’s easy to reax a point where those habits put us in a rut.
We begin to live life on autopilot and do these things without thinking about it anymore, and as a result, we lose our curiosity.
Sometimes, it’s necessary to change things up and explore new and better ways of accomplishing our objectives.
That involves cultivating a sense of inquisitiveness.
Failure to do this regularly can lead to stagnation and dullness. We don’t grow when we are in state of stagnation.
Exposing our selves to different ways to doing and thinking can broaden our horizons in unimaginable ways.
If you don’t expose yourself to different perspectives you become consumed with your old beliefs and without even realizing it you rarely switch your mindset. We adopt a philosophy or strategy based on simply what we have been exposed to without knowing if it’s the optimal way to do things.
